I could say that over and over and over.
That said (over and over and over), I am picky about pie. Not too sweet, not too goopy, and definitely not creamy. I find myself making pie throughout the year, but tomorrow is the BIG DAY. It's Pie Making Day.
Yes, the traditional Pumpkin Pie. I prefer mine with pecans - I need texture - the husband does not - so no pecans - just the traditional standard pumpkin pie. But there's more. There's Cranberry Apple Pie. This is *THE BEST* pie in world - well, it's the best pie to me... a very close second would be rhubarb pie.... but rhubarb is better suited for the Fourth of July...
Thanksgiving needs Cranberries... Cranberry Pie!!!
