![]() We spent a blissful summer playing in the yard, working on a few projects... camping... and swimming at the lake... But it's a whole new world now, in many ways. Kiddo no. 1 is back in school.... This week brings my first ever PTO Meeting... the kiddo's first Girl Scout meeting... and now, I get to be a Soccer Mom. This is a big deal. This is a BIG week. It begs the question: What does it take to be a soccer mom? I already have the mini-van... I know I need a few folding chairs and an umbrella for the rain (or ridiculously hot sun) would be nice... do I need a Snuggie? Do I need an official soccer bag? Do I need a sticker on the car? Do I need yoga pants? I know I should bring band aides... and water... and snacks... what am I forgetting? This is tomorrow night. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. I suck.... although we did spend the weekend trying to at least teach the basics of soccer to a 6 year old and 4 year old (the 3 year old just ran circles around everyone chasing dragonflies and drank all the water). I wish them luck and hope they have fun!! So.... Let the scheduling nightmare begin as I try to figure out soccer practices and games and meetings and events... and work... and keep the house together... eeeeeek!!!
